In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Lawrence Schiller: Marilyn 12' by Lawrence Schiller. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,036.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Lawrence Schiller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work Portfolio, "Marilyn" (Shot on the Set of "Something's Gotta Give") was auctioned for USD 24,062.50 (€ 20,002.08).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Lawrence Schiller: Marilyn 12' von Lawrence Schiller zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.036,16) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
