It achieved a price of AUD 1,410.00 (€ 818.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lawrence Daws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Pool in November 2003 with an auction result of AUD 28,200.00 (€ 17,011.69).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.410,00 (€ 818,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lawrence Daws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lily Pool im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 28.200,00 (€ 17.011,69).
