Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View from Saltofte Beach on a sunny day by Lauritz Mikkelsen was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lauritz Mikkelsen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three sketches, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 1,600.00 (€ 1,398.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View from Saltofte Beach on a sunny day von Lauritz Mikkelsen wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Lauritz Mikkelsen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three sketches beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 1.600,00 (€ 1.398,36) versteigert wurde.
