Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A meeting in a Continental town square by Laurent Herman Redig. The price achieved of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,765.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Laurent Herman Redig have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2001 the work A country fair; and Figures on a canal was auctioned for GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,418.36).

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A meeting in a Continental town square von Laurent Herman Redig zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.765,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
