In November 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Now Evening Auction, which included this untitled work by Laura Owens. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,593,000.00 (€ 1,411,358.20), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Laura Owens have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 1,755,000.00 (€ 1,475,037.82) in November 2017 for the work without title.
