Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Lars-Gunnar Nordström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 120,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,380.90). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lars-Gunnar Nordström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Tunnelbanan Stockholm", which sold at auction in May 2019 for SEK 250,000.00 (€ 23,567.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lars-Gunnar Nordström im November letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.380,90) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lars-Gunnar Nordström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Tunnelbanan Stockholm" beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für SEK 250.000,00 (€ 23.567,14) versteigert wurde.
