Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled. by Lars-Gunnar Nordström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 120,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,557.78). Admittedly, works by Lars-Gunnar Nordström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Tunnelbanan Stockholm" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 250,000.00 (€ 23,567.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled. von Lars-Gunnar Nordström im November letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.557,78) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lars-Gunnar Nordström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Tunnelbanan Stockholm" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 250.000,00 (€ 23.567,14).
