Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Poem In Regular Script by Lao She. The price achieved of HKD 25,500.00 (€ 2,769.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lao She achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 247,800.00 (€ 29,160.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Regular Script von Lao She zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.500,00 (€ 2.769,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lao She erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 247.800,00 (€ 29.160,92).
