Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Kaishu by Lao She was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,570.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lao She - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 247,800.00 (€ 29,160.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu von Lao She kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.570,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lao She mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 247.800,00 (€ 29.160,92) versteigert wurde.
