A top price for Lam Tung Pang
This artwork by Lam Tung Pang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction, the work Potted Landscape No.5 sold for HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,975.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. This high result makes Potted Landscape No.5 the most expensive artwork by Lam Tung Pang that we have observed at auctions so far.
