Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris by Ladislaus Bakalowicz was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 187,500.00 (€ 157,589.51). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ladislaus Bakalowicz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 422,500.00 (€ 324,102.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris von Ladislaus Bakalowicz im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
