Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2003 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Dinner Party by Ladislaus Bakalowicz. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 6,989.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ladislaus Bakalowicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 422,500.00 (€ 324,102.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Dinner Party von Ladislaus Bakalowicz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.935,00 (€ 6.989,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ladislaus Bakalowicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 422.500,00 (€ 324.102,49).
