Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Woman at Window) by Krishna Hawlaji Ara was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,533.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Krishna Hawlaji Ara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 240,000.00 (€ 197,709.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Woman at Window) von Krishna Hawlaji Ara kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.533,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Krishna Hawlaji Ara erzielen.
