The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,451.25), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Krishna Hawlaji Ara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 240,000.00 (€ 197,709.86).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Still Life) von Krishna Hawlaji Ara wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.451,25) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Krishna Hawlaji Ara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 240.000,00 (€ 197.709,86).
