In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Including Works from the Collection of Mahinder and Sharad Tak auction, the work Woman of Sunflower sold for USD 3,528.00 (€ 3,180.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Krishna Reddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Group Of Trees) in November 2018 with an auction result of INR 1,062,500.00 (€ 13,418.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Krishna Reddy erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Including Works from the Collection of Mahinder and Sharad Tak wurde die Arbeit Woman of Sunflower für USD 3.528,00 (€ 3.180,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Krishna Reddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Group Of Trees) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.062.500,00 (€ 13.418,48).
