This artwork by Krishna Reddy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March this year. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Demonstrators sold for USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,867.55) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Krishna Reddy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Group Of Trees), which sold at auction in November 2018 for INR 1,062,500.00 (€ 13,418.48).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Krishna Reddy erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Demonstrators für USD 5.292,00 (€ 4.867,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Krishna Reddy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Group Of Trees) beobachtet, die im November 2018 für INR 1.062.500,00 (€ 13.418,48) versteigert wurde.
