Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included this untitled work by Krishna Reddy. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,492.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Krishna Reddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Group Of Trees) in November 2018 with an auction result of INR 1,062,500.00 (€ 13,418.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Krishna Reddy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.492,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Krishna Reddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Group Of Trees) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.062.500,00 (€ 13.418,48).
