Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flight by Krishna Reddy was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,084.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Krishna Reddy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Group Of Trees) in November 2018 with an auction result of INR 1,062,500.00 (€ 13,418.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flight von Krishna Reddy wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.084,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Krishna Reddy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Group Of Trees) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.062.500,00 (€ 13.418,48).
