Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work On the Beach 'D' by Kozo Mio for USD 165.75 (€ 155.58). This price was achieved in the auction Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 250.00 – 350.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kozo Mio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work FICTION SPACE (N) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,555.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit On the Beach 'D' von Kozo Mio für USD 165,75 (€ 155,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 250,00 – 350,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kozo Mio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit FICTION SPACE (N) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.555,31).
