Despite a disappointment, a good price for Kozo Mio
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work FICTION SPACE (N) by Kozo Mio for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,555.31). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 180,000.00 – 240,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, FICTION SPACE (N) is the most expensive artwork by Kozo Mio that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Kozo Mio
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit FICTION SPACE (N) von Kozo Mio für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.555,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 240.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist FICTION SPACE (N) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kozo Mio, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
