In May this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Sans titre by Kostis Georgiou. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,750.00 59% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kostis Georgiou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Greek Seated Man sold at auction in November 2008 with the realized price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,670.16).

Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Kostis Georgiou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.750,00 und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kostis Georgiou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Greek Seated Man im November 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.670,16).
