The work Greek Seated Man by Kostis Georgiou was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,670.16) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Greek Seated Man is the most expensive artwork by Kostis Georgiou that we have observed at auctions so far.
