Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Koorosh Shishegaran achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in April 2010. In the International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi auction, the work Figure and Twig sold for USD 110,500.00 (€ 83,070.22) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Koorosh Shishegaran; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Figure sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of USD 162,500.00 (€ 151,897.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Koorosh Shishegaran erzielte im April 2010 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern & Contemporary Art, Including Masterpieces from The Collection of Dr. Mohammed Said Farsi wurde die Arbeit Figure and Twig für USD 110.500,00 (€ 83.070,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Koorosh Shishegaran; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Figure im März 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 151.897,55).
