Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work The Trinity And St Sergius Monastery By Moonlight by Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 527,893.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Ancient Town Of Uglich, which sold at auction in November 2019 for GBP 1,275,000.00 (€ 1,497,161.72).
