Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of The Artist'S Wife by Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,587.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Fedorovich Yuon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ancient Town Of Uglich in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 1,275,000.00 (€ 1,497,161.72).
