A top price for Konstantin Batynkov - as previously expected
The work The Submarine by Konstantin Batynkov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,703.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Submarine is the most expensive artwork by Konstantin Batynkov that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit The Submarine von Konstantin Batynkov kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.703,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Submarine das teuerste Kunstwerk von Konstantin Batynkov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
