A top price for Konstantin Savitskii - as previously expected
The work Hunter by Konstantin Savitskii was sold in the Important Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 209,600.00 (€ 311,262.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hunter is the most expensive artwork by Konstantin Savitskii that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Hunter von Konstantin Savitskii wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Important Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 209.600,00 (€ 311.262,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Hunter das teuerste Kunstwerk von Konstantin Savitskii, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
