Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam, which included the work Le Départ (The Departure) by Koen Vermeule. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,750.00 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Koen Vermeule - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch departure, which sold at auction in June 2010 for EUR 10,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Départ (The Departure) von Koen Vermeule zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.750,00 und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Koen Vermeule mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch departure beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert wurde.
