Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mechelse Koekoek X Poulet De Bresse by Koen Vanmechelen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koen Vanmechelen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cosmopolitan Fossil in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 96,584.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mechelse Koekoek X Poulet De Bresse von Koen Vanmechelen kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koen Vanmechelen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cosmopolitan Fossil im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 96.584,14).
