A top price for Kobe de Peuter - as previously expected
In September 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art, which included the work Waiting Area by Kobe de Peuter. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Waiting Area is the most expensive artwork by Kobe de Peuter that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im September 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waiting Area von Kobe de Peuter zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Waiting Area das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kobe de Peuter, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
