Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waking by Koak was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,778.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work To Be Touched, 2020 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 47,389.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waking von Koak kam im Februar 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.778,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit To Be Touched, 2020 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 47.389,20).
