Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Cultivating Delight: Collecting Chinese Art, which included the work Village Life by Ko Nam. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Ko Nam have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Visiting a Friend's Farmhouse was auctioned for HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,074.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Cultivating Delight: Collecting Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Village Life von Ko Nam zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ko Nam konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit Visiting a Friend's Farmhouse für HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.074,19) versteigert.
