The work Swans at sea by Knud Kyhn was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year. It achieved a price of DKK 13,500.00 (€ 1,810.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Knud Kyhn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Eiders flying over the sea sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of DKK 2,500.00 (€ 2,184.93).

Die Arbeit Swans at sea von Knud Kyhn wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 13.500,00 (€ 1.810,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Knud Kyhn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Eiders flying over the sea im Januar 2024 mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 2.500,00 (€ 2.184,93).
