Auction result fails to reach estimate
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Polar bear by Knud Kyhn for DKK 1,650.00 (€ 221.62). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings and furniture (postponed) at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 2,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Knud Kyhn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eiders flying over the sea in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,500.00 (€ 2,184.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Polar bear von Knud Kyhn für DKK 1.650,00 (€ 221,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings and furniture (postponed) bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Knud Kyhn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eiders flying over the sea im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.500,00 (€ 2.184,93).
