Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Knud Kyhn could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Polar bear and seal changed hands for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 456.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Knud Kyhn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eiders flying over the sea in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,500.00 (€ 2,184.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Knud Kyhn konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Polar bear and seal für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 456,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Knud Kyhn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eiders flying over the sea im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.500,00 (€ 2.184,93).
