Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monkeys by Knud Kyhn was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 960.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Knud Kyhn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eiders flying over the sea, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 2,184.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monkeys von Knud Kyhn kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 960,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Knud Kyhn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eiders flying over the sea beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 2.184,93) versteigert wurde.
