Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Five porcelain dogs, decorated with underglaze colours by Knud Kyhn for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.49). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Knud Kyhn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eiders flying over the sea in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,500.00 (€ 2,184.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Five porcelain dogs, decorated with underglaze colours von Knud Kyhn für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Knud Kyhn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eiders flying over the sea im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.500,00 (€ 2.184,93).
