Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of the artists wife by Knud Agger for DKK 1,950.00 (€ 261.73). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Knud Agger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with fruit in May this year with an auction result of DKK 14,500.00 (€ 1,946.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of the artists wife von Knud Agger für DKK 1.950,00 (€ 261,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Knud Agger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with fruit im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 14.500,00 (€ 1.946,22).
