Estimate exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Klaus Wittkamp achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2016. In the ACHENBACH ART AUCTION Part IV auction, the work Ohne Titel sold for EUR 640.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 300.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Klaus Wittkamp; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Clara Schumann sold at auction in September 2015 with the realized price of EUR 818.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Klaus Wittkamp erzielte im Juni 2016 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ACHENBACH ART AUCTION Part IV wurde die Arbeit Ohne Titel für EUR 640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Klaus Wittkamp; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Clara Schumann im September 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 818,00.
