Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Melancholia by Kjell Anderson was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in March 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 615.70). Admittedly, works by Kjell Anderson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Fandango" in April 2013 with an auction result of SEK 44,000.00 (€ 5,152.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Melancholia von Kjell Anderson im März 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 615,70) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kjell Anderson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Fandango" im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 44.000,00 (€ 5.152,49).
