Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Minotaur by Masao Kinoshita was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,301.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Masao Kinoshita - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ganesha, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 192,000.00 (€ 18,282.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Minotaur von Masao Kinoshita kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.301,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Masao Kinoshita mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ganesha beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 192.000,00 (€ 18.282,32) versteigert wurde.
