Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition, which included this untitled work by Kinichiro Ishikawa. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,731.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kinichiro Ishikawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 51,949.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kinichiro Ishikawa zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.731,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kinichiro Ishikawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 51.949,18).
