Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "August". by Kimmo Kaivanto was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 850.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kimmo Kaivanto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "A Happy Journey". in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 15,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "August". von Kimmo Kaivanto kam im November 2011 bei Bukowski in Helsinki zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 850,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kimmo Kaivanto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "A Happy Journey". im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.500,00.
