A top price for Kim Nam Pyo - as previously expected
The work Instant Landscape by Kim Nam Pyo was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,821.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Instant Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Kim Nam Pyo that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Instant Landscape von Kim Nam Pyo wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.821,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Instant Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kim Nam Pyo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
