Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Three scholars under pines by Kim Ki-Chang was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2010. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,297.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Ki-Chang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quiet Listening in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 157,190.84).
