The work Mary Standing with Hate by Kim Eun Jin was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,927.29), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kim Eun Jin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Lady in Red sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 18,282.32).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kim Eun Jin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Lady in Red im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 18.282,32).
