Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Day by Day by Kim Bo Min was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,436.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kim Bo Min have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2010 the work The Egrets was auctioned for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,388.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Day by Day von Kim Bo Min wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.436,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kim Bo Min konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2010 die Arbeit The Egrets für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.388,88) versteigert.
