This artwork by Key Sato achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2011. In the The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two auction, the work without title sold for EUR 4,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Key Sato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Âme de la Terre in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 30,240.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Key Sato erzielte im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 4.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Key Sato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Âme de la Terre im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.240,00.
