Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crow Indian Couple #5 by Kevin Red Star was sold in the Modern Native American Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,464.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kevin Red Star have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Parading Crow Indian Chiefs of Montana, U.S.A.," 2001 in August last year with an auction result of USD 28,050.00 (€ 27,868.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crow Indian Couple #5 von Kevin Red Star wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Native American Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.464,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kevin Red Star auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Parading Crow Indian Chiefs of Montana, U.S.A.," 2001 im August letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.050,00 (€ 27.868,85).
