Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, Circa 1980 by Kenneth Victor Young for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,405.29). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Victor Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,315.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, Circa 1980 von Kenneth Victor Young für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.405,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Victor Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 88.315,82).
